CARLISLE, PA – Carlisle Events is proud to announce a partnership with ProTeam Corvette to present the 2009 Corvettes at Carlisle giveaway Corvette.  Corvettes at Carlisle, the world’s largest Corvette extravaganza, will be held August 28-30 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and is a must-attend event for fans of all generations of America’s sports car. 

On Sunday, August 30^th, one lucky attendee will drive home in a Millennium Yellow Corvette LS1.  This 2004 Corvette is street-legal but by no means an ordinary street car, but rather a turn-key, reliable, track-ready race car guaranteed to put a huge grin on the face of any driver who gets behind the wheel.  The Millennium Yellow Corvette LS1 (350 hp) with a 6-speed transmission was once a Bondurant School of High Performance Driving vehicle.  The modifications done to this Corvette include a roll bar behind the front seats that have race harnesses mounted to both seats, Halon fire system, Ron Davis Aluminum radiator, Borla Cat-Back exhaust system, Z06 brake cooling ducts for the front and rear brakes, transmission cooler, differential cooler, power steering cooler, high performance springs, performance friction brake pads and a few other goodies.
