OPEN AT 9:00 AM FOR ALL EVENTS
(CORVETTE EXPO is
celebrating 32 years in the automotive promotion business. They are now located
at the new Sevierville Events Center in the
foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in beautiful East Tennessee. The new
location is only 21 miles east of the old location,
six miles off I-40 at
exit #407. Close to Historic Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg.)
REDUCED RATES FOR 2009: Corvette Expo has
reduced their rates in several categories for 2009 due to the current economic
climate. Sales Corral Spaces are now only $75.00 per space and Outside Vendors
will pay only $95.00 for a 10 X 20 space. Also reduced Auction Consignment fees
- see below.
ADDITIONAL
CORVETTE PARKING: Beginning with the Spring 2009 Event
over 200 additional spaces will be available for "Corvette Only"
parking. All Corvette parking is paved, level and secured.
Auction
of all year model cars in 2009:
The State of Tennessee has passed a bill making it legal to have
public Auctions of ALL year model cars. As a result, Corvette Expo will sell
ALL year model Corvettes and other cars at the 2009 Auctions.
AUCTION
CONSIGNMENT SPECIAL: All cars consigned to the Auction that are
newer than 1984 will pay only $100 consignment fee. New advance consignment
fees:
No. 1-10 $100. No. 11-19 $125. No. 20-60 $150. No. 61
-up $125.
Day of Event consignment $150 for any available
number.
NEW AUCTION START TIME: This year's
Thompson-Carr Collector car Auction will begin at 10 AM on Saturday with all year models auctioned.
NEW HOTEL OPENED: The Wilderness
Resort has opened its second property on site at the Sevierville Events Center.
There are now over 500 guest rooms available to Corvette Expo attendees, as
well as an indoor and outdoor water parks and new restaurants.
FEATURED CAR: At each event,
Corvette Expo honors a special car
for it "Featured car". In the Spring
of 2009, the featured car will be the Custom or Modified Corvette of any
year model. This includes race prepared and custom built Corvettes. The
outstanding Featured Car will be awarded $1,000.00 at the Awards Presentation
at 6pm on Saturday.
CORVETTE
CRUISE: The Corvette Cruise this Spring will leave from the new
"Corvette Only" parking lot located behind the Events Center.
