This 1957 SCCA Corvette FI Historic Racecar is the earliest known RPO 684 produced at St. Louis, and perhaps the most successful 1957 Corvette in SCCA Racing during 1957.

This 1957 SCCA Corvette FI Historic Racecar is the earliest known RPO 684 produced at St. Louis, and perhaps the most successful 1957 Corvette in SCCA Racing during 1957. Produced May 14, 1957, factory delivered to driver Bark Henry and driven to Cumberland to race May 17-19. Sponsor Robert “Bob” Rosenthal of Rosenthal Chevrolet in Arlington, VA, was the most successful dealer race team in 1957. Fred Windridge was the number two driver. The Car was heavily promoted and supported by Ed Cole and supported by Zora Arkus-Duntov and Chevrolet.

- Henry, Rosenthal, Windridge, and Dick Thompson were charter members of the first Corvette Club in the United States.
- Driver Bark Henry (winner of the race on the cover of 1st Corvette News ~ Elkhart Lake 1956)
- Rosenthal Chevrolet was the Wednesday night meeting place for Washington DC racers.
