This classic commercial for the 1966 Corvette shows that there’s a Chevrolet for anyone who likes to drive! The car was a Dealer Promo Stingray toy for Christmas.
The 1966 Corvette C2 Stingray Coupe 427 was made by Republic Tool and Die Corp.
From what I learned on other websites the toy car is about 30″ long and come with a 6-volt rechargeable battery. There is a button in the middle of the steering wheel to honk the horn.
As you can see the child would sit on top of the roof of the car and it would haul you around…until the battery would run down. Just plug it into any electrical outlet.
There is nothing written on it except Republic Tool and Die Co. in Los Angeles. It came in a box, with decal sheet, battery, and instructions
