2007 Corvette

2007 marked the most successful sales year of the C6 Chevrolet Corvette, with 40,561 units sold. The C6 was hitting on all cylinders, with a Coupe, Convertible, and Z06 variants available. These were joined by an Indy 500 Pace Convertible (500 units) and a Ron Fellows special edition Corvette Z06 (399 units).

Corvette Racing legend, Ron Fellows helped test and develop the first Corvette C5.R race car. The Limited-production 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Championship Edition was inspired by Fellows’ six consecutive American Le Mans Series championships from 2001-2006.

2007 Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Championship Edition Exterior

2007 Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Championship Edition sports chrome wheels, a low-profile rear spoiler, and a unique windshield banner.

It also has Monterey Red GT1 stripes outlined in Machine Silver on the front fenders reminding us of the ones on the Corvette GT1 racecar that Fellows had driven to victory. This is the first Z06 to wear the Arctic White paint.

It’s clear what country Ron is from just by looking at the color scheme, with its red-and-white paint and the maple leaf on the graphic, representing Canada’s colors and logo.

The American Le Mans Series GT1 Champion Ron Fellows’ autograph is on one of the car’s stripes. The Ron Fellows Corvette Z06 was the first Corvette to bear a signature since factory special editions began production.
