The Corvette has been an American automotive institution since its introduction in 1953, and now the 2008 Corvette is in its sixth generation. The 2008 model offers plenty of great upgrades over previous years, including more horsepower, handling improvements, and better fuel economy.

The new standard powerplant for 2008 was the LS3 6.2-liter engine rated at 430 horsepower.

500 Hertz-branded models of the 2008 Corvette ZHZ were produced. This Corvette features Hertz’s iconic yellow and has a black racing stripe. It has a removable roof, perfect for open-air driving.
It features a 6.2-liter V8 with 6-speed paddle-shift automatic and has dual-mode exhaust, giving it 436hp. GM rates the ZHZ as the fastest automatic Corvette ever and says it has a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds.
On the interior, it features the ZHZ-designed emblem on a specific console armrest. Other features include a Hertz fender emblem along with a special floor mat embroidery designed by GM. There are 18″ chrome wheels, a rear spoiler, and a Corvette emblem on the underhood blanket.
