Chevrolet Licensed 100% pre-shrunk cotton T-shirt. The C2 Corvette was produced from 1963-1967. The C2s are also referred to as midyear Corvettes. The model is also called a Sting Ray. This Chevrolet Licensed T-shirt features a yellow Corvette with the St. Louis’ Gateway Arch. You also see the famous Clydesdale horses and a paddlewheel riverboat on the Mississippi River.
St. Louis is where the Corvettes were made at that time. The first 300 Corvettes were built by hand in Flint Michigan. The new Corvette was unveiled in the Motorama show in New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel. The following year the production move to St. Louis, Missouri. Corvette production then moved in June 1981 from St. Louis to Bowling Green, Kentucky where it is today.
