The earliest known Airbox Corvette, Lot S140, will be auctioned Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the Mecum Kissimmee Auction. What a unique opportunity to own one of 43 Airbox Cars produced of which only twenty-two are known to exist. This award-winning 1957 Corvette is Serial No. 4007 and was completed on May 15, 1957. The car was ordered by a Chevrolet dealer and racer, Bill Howe, in Middleton Ohio during a special SCCA event in which GM announced the car's development. That was in January of 1957. After waiting months he finally flew to St. Louis to take delivery at the plant. This was only days before the Cumberland, Maryland road races. He drove to the track with just two hours of rest where Bill Howe took third place, right…

NCRS Winter Regional Meet 2018

Vette Vues Magazine Past Coverage of Corvette Events
We hope you enjoy looking back at the NCRS Winter Regional Meet 2018.  Here is the event coverage that appeared in April 2018 issue of Vette Vues Magazine. Photographer: Ed Nieves. For the past 40 years, the NCRS Florida Chapter has held the society's first show of the year. The Florida weather has always been a big draw. The NCRS Winter Regional Meet has had many homes since 1978. You might have heard people talk about the Cypress Garden's Show or NCRS Old Town Corvette show, which were some of the popular locations in the past. The Lakeland, Florida, Sun N Fun facility, is the current venue for the NCRS Winter Regional Meet. 1966 Kiddie Corvette Video and Information

1966 Corvette Information, C2 Corvette Information, Corvette Videos
This classic commercial for the 1966 Corvette shows that there's a Chevrolet for anyone who likes to drive! The car was a Dealer Promo Stingray toy for Christmas. https://youtu.be/XM3fM65GUN4 The 1966 Corvette C2 Stingray Coupe 427 was made by Republic Tool and Die Corp. From what I learned on other websites the toy car is about 30" long and come with a 6-volt rechargeable battery. There is a button in the middle of the steering wheel to honk the horn.  As you can see the child would sit on top of the roof of the car and it would haul you around...until the battery would run down. Just plug it into any electrical outlet. There is nothing written on it except Republic Tool and Die Co. in Los Angeles.  It…
