Bloomington Gold’s 50th Show Gold Collection
The Bloomington Gold’s 50th Show is coming June 10 & 11, 2022, and held at the Illinois State University. We are looking at three special Corvettes that will be in this year’s Gold Collection.
Join the celebration of Bloomington Gold’s 50th Anniversary and discover a one-of-a-kind collection of 30 Special Corvettes and Camaros in the Gold Collection. Whether you’re a collector or just love cars, join this special event as they salute these specially selected vehicles.

Attendees can have a sneak peek by attending the Gold Gala Thursday evening or take a shuttle from Redbird Arena to the Bone Student Center on Friday or Saturday of the Show.
This year, head over to Bloomington Gold’s 50th Show where visitors can learn more about the history of the show as well as see real footage from the early days. Bloomington Gold’s goal is to bring back automotive excellence to Bloomington, IL, where it all started 50 years ago.

1960 Corvette Briggs Cunningham Le Mans Racer

1960 was the first time a Corvette won its class at the famous Le Mans 24-hour race. The #3 1960 Corvette Briggs Cunningham Le Mans Racer held this title for 40 years! The movie, The Quest, showing Friday, June 10 at the Normal movie theater is about this Corvette.
1957 Corvette Convertible Aztec Copper

This Aztec Copper 1957 Corvette is one of the best-documented first-generation examples known to exist. Its provenance is supported by extensive original documentation, including nearly every piece of dealership paperwork and full ownership documentation.

Admission to the Gold Collection is included in admission to Bloomington Gold. There will be a Gold Gala ticketed event from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm on Thursday, June 9th to introduce the cars and kick off the 50th event celebration.
