The one-and-only, record-setting 1988 Callaway Sledgehammer was up for auction recently on Bring-a-Trailer. The auction ended and on May 23, 2021, with a high bid of $500,000, but it did not meet the reserve. In researching past auctions, we learned that in 2004 at the Scottsdale Barret-Jackson auction, it sold at no reserve for $225,500.00. Chevrolet announces to its dealers that 522 pace car replicas would be produced, with 415 available for dealer sales.
