Jeff Norwicki brought his updated ConceptZ Corvette to the 2016 SEMA show showcasing a range of Styling and Aerodynamics for the 2015+ ZO6 models. This year the car is updated, and Jeff calls it his all-new ConceptZ, which includes a range of styling, and aerodynamic aids for 2015+ Corvette Z06 models. These components are showcased on a black “Michelin-themed” 2016 Z06. The car is a nod to the more than 25-year relationship Nowicki Autosport founder Jeff Nowicki has shared with the tire company. Ken Lingenfelter had several displays at the SEMA event and featured a C5 Z06 Optima Street Challenge car and several others. This is a look at his main display at the 2016 event. Text and Photos By Wayne Ellwood Ken Lingenfelter had a solid presence at SEMA. At his home base, he featured three Corvettes and a lot of product. In various satellite locations, a couple more cars were co-located on Lingenfelter partner booths. Each of these cars is a rolling demonstration of the Lingenfelter product as well as the contributions of the partners. The first car is the Lingenfelter-Superformance C3 Grand Sport replica. Track-to-street connection honored with limited production model 2015-04-24 2016 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R Edition BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Chevrolet today introduced the 2016 Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition – a road-going, track-capable homage to the Corvette Racing C7.R racecars. It’s offered in Corvette Racing’s signature yellow livery – or black – with coordinated exterior and interior accents. Only 500 examples of the C7.R Edition will be built and all will include the Z07 Performance Package with carbon ceramic brakes, as well as a specially serialized vehicle identification number.
