The Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is an annual event held at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California for one week during mid-August. Its purpose is to provide an event in which historic racecars can compete. Corvette camouflaged a 2014 Corvette C7.R race car; Tommy Milner drove the car at the Laguna Seca event that was held August 16-18, 2013. Chevrolet Racing teased the new 2014 Corvette C7.R racecar over the weekend at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion.The Corvette C7.R is the successor to the Corvette C6.R.The C7.R makes its motorsports debut next January at the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
