2020 C8 Chevrolet Corvette Vette Vues will update this page as new recalls come out for the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette. So far there are two recalls on the new 2020 Chevrolet C8 Mid-Engine Corvette. Both are having to do with the frunk (front trunk). The first recall addresses the problem where a small person could get trapped inside the front trunk. According to the NHTSA recall notice, the interior trunk release on the 2020 Corvette becomes inoperable when the vehicle enters a sleep mode. This happens about 10 minutes after being turned off. Chevrolet warns that if the frunk lid is left open, a small person could climb inside the front trunk compartment and close the trunk lid and may not be able to get out without help. This…

May 8, 2020, John Heinricy drove a Hennessey-prepared C8 Corvette to a top speed of 205.1 mph on the 8.0-mile high-speed oval at the Continental Tire Uvalde Proving Grounds, which is located approximately 80 miles west of San Antonio, Texas. The team at Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) has a long history of testing its cars to over 200 mph. You might remember when the C7 2013 Corvette was introduced.
