Today on our Vette Vues blog post, we are looking at the 1991 Corvette Callaway Speedster Brochure. We are also taking a look at the history of the Callaway Speedster and have a walkaround video for you to enjoy. The one-and-only, record-setting 1988 Callaway Sledgehammer was up for auction recently on Bring-a-Trailer. The auction ended and on May 23, 2021, with a high bid of $500,000, but it did not meet the reserve. In researching past auctions, we learned that in 2004 at the Scottsdale Barret-Jackson auction, it sold at no reserve for $225,500.00. In 2014 at the Mecum Kissimmee auction, the high bid was $600,000 and did not sell. It's estimated value at that time was $750,000 to $1,000,000. We will keep you posted in the future as to…

The commercial shows that there's a Chevrolet for anyone who likes to drive! The car was a Dealer Promo Stingray toy for Christmas. https://youtu.be/XM3fM65GUN4 The 1966 Corvette C2 Stingray Coupe 427 was made by Republic Tool and Die Corp. From what I learned on other websites the toy car is about 30" long and come with a 6-volt rechargeable battery.
