Chevy Thunder Seminar at 26th Amelia Island 2021

Friday, May 21, 2021, Chevrolet Motorsports will present Chevy Thunder Seminar at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, Talbot Ballroom during the Amelia Island Concours. The seminar runs from 3 pm until 4:30 pm.

Now in its third decade, the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is among the top automotive events in the world. “The Amelia” draws more than 300 rare vehicles from collections around the world to. The Golf Club of Amelia Island, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island for a celebration of the automobile like no other.

The event starts Thursday, May 20, 2021, and runs through Sunday, May 23, 2021. Friday, May 21, 2021, Chevrolet Motorsports will present Chevy Thunder Seminar at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, Talbot Ballroom during the Amelia Island Concours. The seminar runs from 3 pm until 4:30 pm.

The seminar will be hosted by NASCAR Hall of Fame crew chief Ray Evernham to celebrate Chevy Thunder, which was the GM Racing tagline during The 80s.

Chevy Thunder Seminar Panelists:

  • Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Two-time Daytona 500 winner
  • Herb Fishel – Director of GM Racing for 40 years
  • George Follmer – UOP Shadow Racing
  • David Hobbs – 1972 SCCA F5000 and SCCA Tran-Am Champion and Brian Redman
  • Brian Redman – 3-time SCCA F5000 Champion and IMSA GTP Champion, all in Chevy-powered cars
  • Dr. Eric Warren – Head of GM Racing

RM Sotheby’s, the official auction company of the world-renowned Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, auction date is May 22.
