The Genovation Extreme Electric car (GXE) made history on July 28, 2016, by breaking the land speed record for a street-legal all-electric vehicle. The GXE reached the record-breaking speed of 205.6 mph during supervised tests with Johnny Bohmer Racing at Space Florida’s Shuttle Landing Facility in Kennedy Space Center, FL. The record was certified by the International Mile Racing Association (IMRA). The previous record, which also was held by Genovation, stood at 186.8 mph.

Most people may not think about electric vehicles taking center stage in what is usually the domain of petrol heads but here, they are shattering records and perceptions of what an EV can truly be capable of. Particularly now, when V2G is getting recognised globally. For instance, vehicle to grid australia might have become a project worth exploring due to the growing awareness for environment conservation. V2G probably has additional benefits, like cheap and fast energy, utilization of existing resources, and might support electrical grid also. It’s this kind of headline that promotes the efficacy of a greener world that still excites car-lovers, and that puts Teslas on driveways and charging stations on walls. Perhaps as well, these headlines might be driving more and more people to invest in these types of cars. From checking out car invoice prices for similar cars, many car owners could purchase an electric car for a reasonable price if they wanted to

The infrastructure for charging these vehicles is something that does hold many back from buying into it, but it needn’t be. There are top electricians around the country (such as those at SALT Light & Electric – https://saltle.com/in-home-electric-car-charging-station/) who can help homeowners with the installation of their very own charging stations. Welcome to the 21st century!
