2015 SEMA Show November 3–6 held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
There was the usual high level of excitement for the annual Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) exposition for Corvette fans, with over thirty Corvettes on display. Several categories also provided builders with exposure and a chance at awards.
The show opens on Tuesday but actually starts on Monday evening with various “receptions” to reveal new products. For example, GM hosted its press reveal on Monday night, just a few hours before the official show floor opening, with a combined Corvette, Camaro, Malibu, and truck reveal.
GM RECEPTION FOR SPECIAL INTRODUCTIONS
Among the celebrities invited to help design “lifestyle” themes for various vehicles were Detroit-based Kid Rock, Ron Fellows, John Force, and Courtney Force.
Each was linked to a special package vehicle and briefly discussed their program.
At the 2015 SEMA Show, Chevrolet had the distinct honor of introducing their local luminary, Kid Rock. Not only was he present to launch the concept for the 2016 Chevrolet 3500 HD, but he also provided invaluable input during the creation of the vehicle’s all-American design. At the 2015 SEMA auto show in Las Vegas, Ron Fellow captivated the audience with details on the upcoming Corvette Challenge series. The Corvette Challenge series car was introduced at the SEMA show in Las Vegas (2015).Multi-time drag-racing champion John Force, founder of John Force Racing, was also on hand at the SEMA 2015 trade show.Courtney Force was one of the successful women drag racing drivers at the 2015 SEMAJohn Force Racing Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car at SEMA 2015

T1 TRACK PACKAGE
The idea for a track package (off-road only) originated at the Ron Fellows Corvette high-performance driving school at the Spring Mountain track. Instructors wanted some way to make sure a standard (or ZR1) Corvette could handle the rigors of track use in the heat of the Nevada desert. They figured they could produce such an enhanced model with components from a new lineup of Z06-based performance parts. GM bought into the idea, creating the T1 “track” parts list. In this case, many parts are sourced from the Z06 and are offered as direct replacements for the Stingray’s original parts*.
