The July 2022 issue of Vette Vues Magazine is here! As you might expect, it’s got plenty of great content. Corvette History:
Read about this 1969 Monaco Orange Factory ZL1, a rare breed indeed. Only two were produced with that identification, which consisted of a derivative of the all-new aluminum CanAm racing 427 block with L88 components and was delivered street-legal straight from Chevrolet.
In 1970, only a handful of people were aware of the rare aluminum 427 ZL1. You will want to learn about the history of this rare Corvette in the July 2022 issue of Vette Vues.
And for current Corvette history, you will want to check out the details of the 2023 C8 Corvette ZO6 Indy Pace Car. We have lots of great photos.
George Haddad’s 1969 #6 Owens Corning L88 Re-Creation – Part I
And let’s say you don’t own a real 1969 L88 Owens Corvette race car. Wouldn’t you love to own one? George Haddad had nearly fifty years of experience building cars. The winningest Corvette team ever was the Jerry Thompson and Tony DeLorenzo Owens-Corning L88 Corvettes. So, he decided to make a recreation. Check out his story along with some great photos.
Gilmore Car Museum: Special Corvette Display
Last year, the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan, unveiled a new exhibit, The Greatest Generation, featuring American-made Chevrolet Corvettes. Corvette expert Werner Meier, the owner of Masterworks Automotive Services (Madison Heights, MI), is the driving force behind the new exhibit. Some of his award-winning Corvettes are on display, as well as Ken Lingenfelter and Terry Michaelis (Pro-Team). 1954 Corvair Motorama Replica, 1953 Driveable Cutaway, and the 1976 Bill Mitchell GREAT WHITE are just some of the awesome Corvettes featured.
Fred and Alcy Panasik’s Matching His and Hers 1980 Corvettes
I’ve heard of togetherness, but it isn’t often that a husband-and-wife order identical Corvettes. Well, that is what Fred and Alcy Panasik did. Read about their matching His and Hers 1980 Corvettes.
Corvette Racing
In our Corvette racing column, Jan Hyde brings us up to date on racing Corvettes. In the July 2022 issue, he covers the C8.R Corvette at Laguna Seca; Randy Hale III wins at Trans Am XGT in his # 31 Corvette at Lime Rock Park. He also covers the 2022 HSR Mitty at Road Atlanta and some regulars there like Dave Roberts, Mike Donohue, and Clair Schwendeman.
The National Corvette Museums Announces 2022 Corvette Hall of Fame Members Elect

1989 Corvette Magazine Ads
This month we have a special 1989 Corvette 3D popup mailer. If you have never seen one of these before, they were very popular in the 80s and before.
How do they work? When you remove it from the envelope, dimensional mailers easily unfold, pop, or pull into interactive freestanding pieces.
