Are you the proud owner of a Corvette race car? If so, come celebrate 75 years of Corvette racing and the 70th birthday of the iconic sports car by displaying your Corvette race car at the Showcase of Speed at the 30th annual Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival and at the famed Watkins Glen International race course. Dates are September 8-10; this is the perfect opportunity to show off your prized Corvette race car and revel in the glory of its past and present accomplishments.
Celebrating 75 Years of Racing and 70 Years of Corvette
This year marks a major milestone for both the world of racing and the iconic Chevrolet Corvette. Seventy-five years ago, racing legends took to the tracks to showcase their skills and push the limits of speed. Seventy years ago, the first Corvette hit the road. Today, we celebrate these two anniversaries with a special event.
Watkins Glen, New York, offers an unforgettable experience with its Grand Prix Festival! Guests will get to take in the sight of 600 classic sports cars from various eras and brands lining the main streets of the village. The festivities also include live music, wine tasting, food courts, vendors with racing memorabilia and merchandise, and plenty of other activities for the whole family to enjoy.
The 30th Annual Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival is a three-day event that attracts thousands of racing fans from around the country. It’s an opportunity to experience the history and excitement of the sport, from vintage cars to modern-day superstars. And for Corvette race car owners, it’s a chance to show off what your car can do.
