Today we are revisiting the 2014 Corvette. The 2014 Corvette Stingray debuted Monday, January 14, 2013, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. The new Corvette is the most powerful standard model ever, with an estimated 450 horsepower (335 kW) and 450 lb.-ft. of torque (610 Nm). It will accelerate from 0-60 in less than four seconds.
The Corvette (C7) is the seventh generation of the Corvette sports car. It was introduced for the 2014 model year as the first to bear the Corvette Stingray name since the 1968 third-generation model. The first C7 Corvettes were delivered in the third quarter of 2013.
There were 37,288 produced: 26,565 were the Stingray coupe and 10,723 were convertibles. The base Corvette Stingray Coupe cost $51,995, the Coupe with theZ51 was $54,775, the Corvette Stingray convertible was $56,995 and with convertible with the Z51 was $59,795. The Corvette Stingray Coupe & Premiere Editions was $75,760, the Corvette Stingray Convertible and Premiere Edition was $77,450.
