The highest SOLD C3 Corvette was Lot W145.1 for $335,500. The lowest price SOLD C3 Corvette was a 1975 Corvette Coupe J186 for $12,100. 83 of the C3 Corvettes SOLD!

LOT MG11 1969 Corvette L88 Convertible
Another Corvette that caught my eye was LOT MG11 1969 Corvette L88 Convertible that is unrestored with 6,453 Miles, Bloomington Gold Hall of Fame. It was previously part of the Ed Foss Low-Mileage Corvette Collection and was part of the Mecum Gallery Exposition Sale.
The Mecum Website Says:
This vehicle will be offered as part of the Mecum Gallery Exposition—an exposition sale that will be held separate from, but in conjunction with, Mecum Kissimmee 2022. LOT L66 1977 Corvette Martel Continental Coupe
Our next Corvette is one I missed while at the Mecum auction. I didn’t realize it was a Corvette. It’s a 1977 Corvette Martel Continental Coupe. There were 49,213 1977 Corvette produced, but I never saw one that looked like this. According to Hagerty’s website, it is likely the creation of Gerry Martel, a Massachusetts appraiser, restorer, and all-around car guy.
The 1977 Corvette Martel Continental has an Edelbrock V-8 engine with an automatic transmission. The Green and Black two-tone exterior have a split rear window and the Continental kit on the rear. The interior is also Green and has a wood dashboard. The car was offered as part of the Klairmont Kollection and sold at no reserve for $19,800. One thing for sure, it is sure to be the only one in its class at the next car show!
There were two Motion Corvettes avaialbel:1972 Chevrolet Corvette Motion Moray GT and 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Motion Manta Ray GT. The 1972 bid to $70,000 and the 1973 Sold for $88,000.
