The Calm Before The Storm – Beginnings Of A Sleeper Build

In this Vette Vues blog post, we are introducing Wayne Scraba’s YouTube Videos called the Lone Wolf Hot Rods’. This is the beginning of a current street sleeper project car — a 1970 Chevrolet Nova but many of the applications can be used on the Corvette.

It’s your typical “granny-mobile” with pretty much zero optional equipment. The biggest redeeming quality is the fact it has just over 13,000 original miles (yes, they are still out there!).

In this video, the car has a snoring inline-six with a three on the tree. That will all change!

The idea here is to build a nondescript Sleeper – one with ahem…”adequate power” under the hood!

It will look close to the same as it does now, but under the skin, there will be some very healthy changes.

Follow Vette Vues and we’ll also share a big chunk of related high performance tech that you can use on any project — Chevy Nova or Corvette.

Keep your eyes peeled for updates!
