Phil Zak, Global Chevrolet Executive Design Director, talks about the heart of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray – the mid-engine design as he introduces the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Thursday, July 18, 2019, in Tustin, California. The 2020 Stingray, the brand’s first-ever production mid-engine Corvette, features a new 6.2L Small Block V-8 LT2 engine producing 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque when equipped with a performance exhaust. The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray goes into production in late 2019 and will start under $60,000.
