The 1969 Corvette was visually identical to the '68 except that the 1969 Corvette brought back the "Stingray" badge and it was now one word. There was a total production of 38,762, with convertibles totaling 16,633 and coupes - 22,129. There was a labor dispute in May of 1969 which caused the 1969 model year run longer.
