The 1970 Corvette sales brochure was produced by Campbell-Ewald. The advertising agency started in June 1911. Wikipedia says, "Chevrolet became the agency's first major client in 1919 and by 1922, Campbell Ewald was awarded all of General Motors' ad business. The agency continued its partnership with GM for more than 90 years." Our brochure we are looking at today is for the 1970 Corvette. The title on the brochure is: People have the idea you can tell what cars of the future will be like by looking at Chevrolet's Corvette. Today on our blog we will share some photos of the 1970 Corvettes 50th Anniversary Display at the 2020 Corvettes at Carlisle event in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Corvettes at Carlisle 2020 will be remembered for a long time for those who attended. It was a very unusual event because of COVID-19. Many regular Corvette enthusiasts chose not to attend this year. After driving about 1000 miles, the car ended up in outdoor storage. That’s where Joel found it. Joel bought the car back and then offered it (along with some others) for sale.
