Vettes at One Daytona 2022 Car Show was a Great Success!
Vettes at One Daytona 2022 was held May 14, 2022, and presented by the Ponce Inlet Corvette Club and had 225 Corvettes that participated.

Under perfect weather conditions, the Ponce Inlet Corvette Club presented “Vettes at One Daytona” Saturday, May 14th at the huge entertainment facility across the street from Daytona International Speedway. Two hundred twenty-five Corvettes participated in this annual event. The show featured both judging cars in all generations as well as the popular People’s Choice voting.
The event included a Silent Auction, Chinese Basket Raffles, and a huge 50/50 drawing. All proceeds from the event go to local charities in the Volusia and Flagler counties of central Florida. Music for the event was provided by local favorite DJ Frank.
When all the judging was completed by the Ponce Inlet Corvette Club judging committee the following cars came home with first-place hardware: C1 Robert Winski of DeBary, Florida, C2 Bob Keyes of Punta Gorda Florida, C3 Jim and Catherine Condon of North Port Florida, C4 Bob Knight of Port Orange, Florida, C5 Harry Mangos of Winter Springs, Florida, C6 Coupe William Trainer of Melbourne, Florida, C6 Convertibles John Calabresi of Orlando Florida, C7 Coupes Pete Paris of Port St. Lucie, C7 Convertibles Bob and Dee Clark of Ormand Beach, Florida, C8 Coupes Thomas Swiers of The Villages, Florida, C8 Convertibles John Doria of Port Orange, Florida. People’s Choice Awards were won by Wynn Grimet C1, Peter Hill C2, Las Moen C3, Barry Hardy C4, John and Liz Sokerka C5, Paul Rose, Donald Dupre C6, Moh Khan, Richard Mitchell C7, Willie Heyward, Larry Bishins C8.
Specialty Awards are always a big part of the show. The “Vettes at One Daytona” Best of Show went to Ken Sia of Palm Coast for his 2004 Blue Coupe. Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway presented the President’s Trophy to Harry Tovar of Palm Coast for his beautiful 1970 Atomic Orange Coupe. The Club Participation check for $200 went to the Flagler Beach Corvette Club.
The annual “Vettes at One Daytona” is presented by the Ponce Inlet Corvette Club. The show is sponsored in part by Jon Hall Chevrolet of Daytona Beach, Reilly Auto Repair of Holly Hills, and Christopher Bean Coffee of Edgewater.
